Organisations involved with Citizen Science in the Netherlands

Have you already heard about EU-Citizen.Science ? It is the online platform for sharing knowledge, resources, and training for Citizen Science in Europe. Via their API (application programming interface) we can share on this website the Dutch organisations that are profiled on that platform.

The mission of the EU-Citizen.Science platform is to serve as a knowledge hub and European reference point for citizen science, to aid the mainstreaming of citizen science practices. There are several search filters on this platform to help you find the projects or resources that you are looking for. There is a button straight to the platform in the menu of this website.

There are are already several Dutch organisations on the platform – you can find them on this page in a list below but there are maaaany more organisations and groups that are involved with Citizen Science in the Netherlands than this! So please create a profile for your own organisation, because this platform can form a great basis for our own national CS platform in the Netherlands. It is easy to create your own profiles by following this link. Also in Dutch!

Tip: First make your (1) personal profile by signing up to the platform and logging in, then open the “New Submission” button in the top right, and create (2) your organisation profile (if relevant), and then (3) your project(s) and (4) resources.
